Skoodat Exodus

Protecting your privacy is very important to Skoodat. We are committed to protecting your personal information. Please take a moment to read the following Privacy Policy to better understand how we strive to guard your personal information.

Why we collect personal information and how we use it

Skoodat collects and uses information that personally identifies you to provide you with superior customer service and to provide access to our people and services. We collect information about you in several ways, with the purpose of operating the Site and providing services that you have requested or authorized. For example, we might ask for your contact information when you express interest in a product or service. We may request your email address to provide you with important information about the product or service you have purchased. We collect and store the information you provide in a secure database.

Skoodat may collect information about your visits to our site, such as the name of your Internet service provider (ISP) and the Internet Protocol (IP) address you use to access the Internet. The Skoodat website may use "cookie" technology to enhance your experience, but we do not use cookies to collect personal information. We may also collect information about the pages you visit on our Web site to help us improve the site, analyze trends and maintain the site. We merge site-visitation data with anonymous demographic information for research purposes. We may also use your personal information to contact you to participate in a market research survey, so that we can gauge customer satisfaction and develop better products.

When you opt-in (sign up) for a newsletter or agree to receive email, we may use a “click-through URL” to track links that you click. We may associate that data with your personal information to provide you more focused email communications. Skoodat email communications include an unsubscribe link allowing you to stop delivery of that type of communication at any time.

When we disclose personal information

Skoodat seeks to guard your personal information. Skoodat may occasionally share your personal contact information with other companies to provide services on our behalf. For example, we may give shipping companies this information so they can deliver your products efficiently. We may also provide selected information to companies who provide services such as Web site hosting, answering customer questions about products and services, and sending information about our products, special offers, and other new services. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information, adhere to the Skoodat Privacy Policy, and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

In certain instances, Skoodat may be required by law or legal process to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we believe that disclosure is necessary for the public interest.

Our commitment to privacy

These privacy guidelines are communicated to every Skoodat employee. Skoodat does not knowingly solicit personal information from children or send them requests for personal information.

Although Skoodat takes significant precautions to protect your security, we urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser.

If we are going to use your personal information differently from that stated at the time of collection, Skoodat will attempt to contact you via email using the most recent information we have. If you have not given us permission to communicate with you, you will not be contacted, nor will we use your personal information in a new manner.

Skoodat welcomes your comments regarding this policy statement at any time. If you have questions about this Privacy Statement, or you believe that Skoodat has not adhered to this privacy statement, please contact Ken McElrath at ken@skoodat.com.

The Skoodat Privacy Policy is subject to change at any time. We encourage you to review the privacy policy regularly for any changes.
